Evernote clone

This is an open source clone of Evernote. This program has been run on Linux, Windows, and OS-X, but the primary goal is to proved a Linux client. While this is designed to work with Evernote, it is in no way connected with or supported by Evernote. Any problems you encounter will not be corrected by them and ,since this is GPL software, you are using this software at your own risk.

- Only a subset of the search syntax is supported.
- There is no screen clipper.
- Emailing only sends the plain text of a note.
- Ink notes are only images and cannot be edited.
- Single note sharing isn't supported.
---- Slow Performance ----
Althought performance has greatly improved in recent releases, NeverNote may be slow on large databases when changing notebooks or tags. The easiest way around this is to "close" unneeded notebooks. You can do this under the "File \ Notebook" menu option. This has no impact on synchronization. It just hides the notes in that notebooks and you can reopen it at any time. It is really the same thing as adding a search "-notebook:" to exclude them. Doing this reduces the number of notes that it needs to manage so performance should be a little better.
